Memorial Day Ceremony

Community members are invited to honor those who have given their lives in service to our country as the City of Wyoming holds its annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Mayor Kent Vanderwood will host the ceremony, which begins at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Garden. The hour-long ceremony will feature:
A guest speaker
The Lee High School Band, under the direction of Kevin Gabrielse, will perform select numbers, and featured student will also perform Taps.
The Wyoming Public Safety Honor Guard will fire a rifle volley salute to the service men and women who have died
Those who attend are encouraged to arrive early and bring a blanket or folding chair. Parking is available at the Wyoming Senior Center and Pinery Park. The City will have handicapped accessible parking located in front of the Wyoming Department of Public Safety, as well as some additional spaces.
