The Houghton Lake Arts and Crafts Association was formed in 1974 by a small group of artists who wanted to promote the study, appreciation, preservation and enjoyment of original arts and crafts.Â The group held their first craft show that summer.Â Over the years additional shows have been added.Â Now in its 42nd year the group hosts four annual shows.
