Lake Hudson Recreation Area offers premier muskie fishing and game hunting. A new beach area provides an excellent place for sunbathing and swimming. Lake Hudson has been designated a dark sky preserve for observation of the nighttime sky.

Activities:

Fishing: There are excellent fishing opportunities for muskie, walleye, bass, crappie and channel catfish.

Hiking: There are hiking and footpaths located throughout the park.

Hunting: There are opportunities for deer and turkey hunting.There are also opportunities for upland game and waterfowl hunting.

Paddling: Lake Hudson is a no wake lake which is perfect for the paddler. Numerous coves and inlets make exploring the lake by kayak or canoe a great activity.

Swimming: The swimming beach is located on Lake Hudson.

Watchable Wildlife: There are areas that are conducive to observing whitetail deer, waterfowl and bird migrations.
