The Oakfield Pioneer Heritage Museum was established to collect, promote and display the history of Oakfield Township, Kent County, Michigan. The Museum is located on Podunk Avenue, 3/4 mile south of M-57, west of Greenville. It is open the second and fourth Sundays from 2 to 4 pm June through September. A special "Spring Into The Past" open house is held annually the first Saturday and Sunday of May from 11 am to 5 pm. Many archives are available for geneaological research. Private or group tours can be arranged by calling 616-874-6271.
