About Us
Pepper Moon Gallery was established in 2000 by two former educators and art collectors. Our mission is to provide customers with high quality art and unique gift items that reflect and celebrate the diversity of our community.
Our gallery features new world art from North and South America as well as art from the Caribbean, Africa and Europe. Our strength is in the diversity of the outstanding established and emerging artists we represent. Over 31 of our artists are from Michigan, and our international artists come from Mexico, Morocco, and the Dominican Republic. The gift shop features many unique items including; Nicaraguan and Peruvian pottery, mouth blown glass, African sculptures, Oaxaca abrijas, Thomas Blackshear collectibles, and unusual jewelry by African, American, and Mexican artisans. Many items on display in the gallery are aesthetically pleasing to the eye but functional, like our bowls from the Blue Mountains of Vermont. They are beautiful and durable enough for daily use. We have gone to great lengths to find works of art that are of the highest quality and craftsmanship. In the days to come as our site continues to develop and offer more services to our customers, we feel confident that you will find our selections of interest to you.
