The Performing Arts Center soon became one of Southwest Michigan's premier entertainment venues and the artistic home to South Kalamazoo County's performing arts organizations: Vicksburg Rotary Club, The Vicksburg Community Association and the South County Players.
The Vicksburg Performing Art Center features a large modern stage with handicap access, orchestra pit, grand piano, make-up room, green room, wardrobe and dressing rooms and a convenient cargo loading area. Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, rigging, and electrical supply systems, the venue has been host to a wide array of entertainers from television and film stars John Astin, Dick Van Patten and Frank Gorshin to the world-renown Glenn Miller Orchestra. The Gilmore Keyboard Festival and WMU Children's Dance Theater routinely use our stage.
