Thought the variety was amazing! Didn’t know what I wanted so I had the meat pizza! Only could eat half. The appetizer chips are mouth watering! And the dip...mmmmm. So glad we found a local place that even has their own brew! Maybe they will bottle it someday... The beach front is a perfect place to watch the sunset!

Today my boyfriend and I wanted to have a late lunch at the Jolly Pumpkin. I have been here a few times with my family and decided to make the trip. We were seated immediately, however, our server was no where to be found. Took her 10 minutes to greet us and ask us what we’d like to drink. (mind you there was only two other tables sitting outside) After dropping off our drinks she asked if we’d like to start with an appetizer and we ordered their cheese dip. After a long 30 minutes, our server returns with drink refills and mentions nothing about our appetizer and fails to ask if we were even ready to order our meals. (We are not picky people as I have been a server for years and understand how hard and demanding the job can be) We saw three other servers greeting and serving their guests as they all walked by and completely ignored us. We dropped $5 on the table for drinks and walked out. Our server then chased us out in the parking lot and mentioned our appetizer was being brought out at that very moment. She asked if we would pay for it but we refused to pay for something we never got and not to mention, pay for terrible service. She scuffed under her breath and acted surprised when we said we were leaving. I will never be back to the Jolly Pumpkin.

A family favorite! A lovely drive about 11 miles north of town from Center or Peninsula Drive. Good food and some of the best beer in Northern Michigan. Awesome outdoor fire pit, and you can roam the grounds freely with your beverage. Really nifty upstairs area with another ten tables that extends up some wooden stairs into a few private dining rooms alongside a cozy little nook complete with bookshelves and a fireplace. Don't forget to visit the haunted staircase and elevator shaft! This place is a classy, candid sample of the taste of Grand Traverse and Old Mission. Make sure to swing through with the family for dinner and explore!

Great food, service and location. We sat outside. I had the Bison Sloppy Joe. Really good flavor. Love the fries. My wife had the BLT minus the T. Tons of bacon. While the place could use some TLC, I look forward to coming back.

Excellent gastropub, delightful atmosphere, comfortable and good for both families and friends. Be prepared for a short wait. Flank steak was delicious, crab tots great and full of crab - not over-breaded, lamb chops good but a little more cooked than we would have preferred. The cheeses Fish spread was tasty as well. Waitress and staff professional and kind. Delicious French fries. We enjoyed the beer flight - especially the variety of ales and more citrusy Belgian ales. Definitely worth a second visit.
