Kerrytown Concert House welcomes pianist, composer, and arranger Steve Talaga, a mainstay on the West Michigan music scene. A Downbeat Magazine jazz composition award winner and West Michigan Jazz Society's 2008 Jazz Musician of the Year, Talaga has performed with many jazz greats, including Kenny Wheeler, Terry Lynne Carrington, Phil Woods, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra; as well as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra. Joining him are prolific West Michigan bassist Tom Knific and House favorite Pete Siers on drums.
