Traverse City Trail Running Festival

Come Race With Us!

The Traverse City Trail Running Festival is northern Michigan’s premier celebration of off-road running. The courses will take runners through the Pere Marquette Forest on a variety of singletrack and double wide pathways. The festival begins with a two-person 10K relay and 5K on Friday evening, with the 10K, 25K, 50K, 75K and 100K individual races and 100K relay getting underway on Saturday morning. All events start and finish at Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort. After your run, hang around and enjoy post-race snacks, beverages, fire pits, yard games, and cheer on your fellow participants.

Course Description

The VASA Trail system through the Pere Marquette Forest offers soft, smooth and forgiving terrain. You’ll experience both single and double track trails. The 5K and 10K routes are mostly flat with a few rolling hills. The 25K loop sends you through some of the hillier parts of the forest, but the biggest climbs are on the front half of the loop. Push through and it’s smooth running until you get to the finish…or begin your next loop.
