A great place to take the kids, go for walks, feed the Ducks. You still hang out there when I was a kid, walk the dog

Very quiet little park, nice for an afternoon run or walk. I have seen many people take their pets on walks in this park. There is a nice bridge over a river to the walking area. The park has a nice size pavillion is you would like to have a nice place for a kids party or family picnic.

What a great difference I have seen with the nature center. I grew up in Waterford area and have frequently visited these trails with my husband. When I went this last year and summer, right when I walked in the building I immediately noticed how it no longer smelled, felt dirty or cluttered upon entering. My kids have continuously made me frequent the building after such a great experience with the wildlife wednesdays the new interpreter put on for us. I am happy they have greatly improved the grounds and building, and can only wait to see what they have next with the DPNC. Thank you for a wonderful experience, my hope in the nature center is restored.
