Mission

The Mission of the Northville Parks & Recreation Department is to provide opportunities for the community to enjoy recreational activities using existing resources and to plan strategically for future needs.

About

There are dozens of ways for people in the Northville community to be involved with a sport, fitness orrecreational activity. The Northville Parks and Recreation department can help you get started or advance to the

next level.

Our parks are a great place to get out and play; many have fields for baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse. Weare often the first to introduce kids to sports through our trained staff and coaches. Young adults and familieswith school-age children will find plenty of programs that spark their interest, from day camps and team sports to dances and concerts.

Older adults and seniors look forward to our leisure programs and outings, which give them a way to socialize, meet new friends and have engaging experiences. We also offer fitness classes and group sports geared to thisage group.

We often partner with the Downtown Development Association (DDA), Rotary Club, Maybury State Park andothers to provide quality programming in a variety of venues.

Our facilities include a Recreation Center and a Community Center, which houses the Northville Senior Center. At any location – parks, facilities and partners’ venues, we aim to provide a great experience for people who engage with our staff and services.
