Freedom Hill Amphitheatre was built in 2000 on the grounds of the 120-acre Freedom Hill County Park at Metropolitan Parkway in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) assumed management, marketing and booking of the 7,200-capacity venue in November 2015 after reaching a cooperative agreement with Luna Entertainment (Luna).
Luna has invested more than $2 million in facility improvements since acquiring Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in 2012, including technology and cosmetic improvements, sound system and facility's lighting system.
PS&E and Luna will provide Macomb County and the entire metro-Detroit area with an improved summer entertainment mix. PS&E will attract and entertain Freedom Hill Amphitheatre concertgoers with the same diverse array of top touring acts they have come to expect when attending shows at other PS&E venues.
The venue's seating capacity is comprised of a covered pavilion with approximately 4,200 fixed seats and lawn seating for approximately 3,000.
